Director / Attorney

Mr. Seokane was admitted as an attorney in 1999 and has extensive experience spanning over 19 years. He gained his experience in the private and public sector (Alexandra Forbes Risk Services, SABC, VVM Global Services, etc) and held various Management and Executive positions at these entities.

In 2001, he started Seokane Lesomo Attorneys and Seokane Incorporated in 2016.

Mr. Seokane holds a B.Proc degree from University of the North, Higher Diploma in Corporate Law and Advanced Business Management Diploma from University of Johannesburg. Through his different positions, Mr. Seokane brings strong "across-the board" skills and experience from corporate and legal practice to the firm.


MODIEGI MAFALO

Senior Associate

Modiegi has broad experience in civil and commercial litigation in the lower and supreme courts. Modiegi is a proud alumna of the University of Limpopo, having graduated with an LL.B in 2016.

She proceeded to enroll fulltime for Practical Legal Trainingand commenced articles with a boutique corporate and commercial law firm in Norwood, Johannesburg from January of 2017 until she was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa on 1st June 2018.

She joined Seokane Incorporated to spearhead its corporate litigation department in September 2018 and continues to work alongside the director in non-litigious corporate matters.

Modiegi has a keen interest to study further in the fields of Tax, Mercantile and Banking law. Currently, she holds a postgraduate Certificate in Corporate Law from the University of South Africa.


TSHADI LEFAKANE

Senior Candidate Attorney

Tshadi is a senior Candidate Attorney at Seokane Incorporated and is duly registered with the Legal Practice Council of South Africa. She has a keen interest in Corporate and Commercial law and is current holder of a Regional Right of Appearance Certificate.

In 2016, Tshadi graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of South Africa and subsequently underwent Practical Legal Training with the Legal Education and Development Academy in 2018.

Throughout the years she has managed to attain legal expertise in various disciplines through volunteering and mentorship, including but not limited to, Commercial Contract Drafting, Mining Law, Exchange Control Regulatory Compliance, Insurance Law, Fraud Detection, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Labour Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Law of Wills, Trusts and Estates, Advanced Research Techniques, preparation of Legal Opinions, Letters and Articles.

Bouverie Attorneys is a niche law firm situated in Bramley, Johannesburg, Gauteng province specialising in Immigration and Property Law and provides notary services. Jeanette Bouverie, the director of the firm has been practicing as an attorney, notary and conveyancer since 2006 under the name and style of Bouverie Attorneys and subsequently as a partner in the firm Bouverie Burger Theron Inc. She resumed practising for her own account as a sole proprietor since October 2012 under the name and style of Bouverie Attorneys.
